Oh yeah
I forgot to introduce myself in my E3 post. I’m Aaron, and i’ve been gaming since i was 3 years old when i found a glitch in Donkey Kong Country at my cousins house that jumped me ahead 2 worlds. Now 11 years later i still love gaming, and own a few old consoles as well as my gamecube, PSP, and DS. I hope to bring a lot to the blog over the summer when im not doing other crap, and I’m in it with effort. Glad to be a part of the blog!

Hello, I’m New!
Hey all, my name is Ian and I am going to be a regular new poster here at Video Game Box. I hope to bring you all the latest new on everything that you might have been wondering about video games.
I’m primarily a Nintendo fan, so I will be focusing on Nintendo related things in my posts. I am willing to do research on things I do not know about, though, just to give you more information.
And just for the record, my favorite gaming series is Zelda.

DSicade bringing free games and chat to the DSi
Hello, i thought i would do a post about the DSi today. All of the DSi owners out there that have wi-fi should check out http://www.dsicade.com. It offers free games to play and a area where you can chat with other DSi owners.
DSicade can be accessed by downloading the DSi web browser, then typing in the web address “www.dsicade.com”. It has a special one column screen that was made to fit the DSi perfectly, so if you attempt to look at it on a computer, it will look too small to use. All DSi users will just love this site! Games as of 6/8/09 include: “Sodoku”, “Puzzles”, “Defend our Home”, “Touch Mii”, “War Games”, “Wacky Tap DSi”, “Hangman”, and just released “DSi pant demo”.

DSicade welcome page.

This is what the bottom half of your DSi screen looks like when you’re on DSicade.

Full view of page.

Project Natal
Hey. I was wondering if any of you have heard of Project Natal? It is a new Project that Microsoft is working on for the Xbox 360, to attempt and mimic the wii’s motion sensors… But with no controller. It also focuses on voice command, and body movements. Here is a video from E3, showing some of what it does:
A quote from Wikipedia says, “The project is aimed at broadening the Xbox 360’s audience beyond its typically hardcore base.” I hope that Microsoft keeps testing, and working with the software for a good year or two, to perfect it because i can see so much going wrong with Natal. Also, project Natal looks like what Nintendo was trying to do with their Wii, make it attract more people. Which in itself, seems like a good idea. But the hardcore gamers end up losing out, due to the lack hardcore games. Project Natal should cost about $200’s when its finished.
